BCTC becomes the first laboratory in Asia which has been accredited by Discover Card Personalization Validation. As the leading service provider, BCTC will perform Personalization Validation services for commercial banks before issuing Discover and Diners Club cards.

With the support of Discover, BCTC has completed research and technical assessment, and the capabilities of laboratory management and testing techniques have also met Discover’s requirements. BCTC is capable to provide professional technical services for card issuers all over the world. Discover CPV is based on D-PAS Documentation, Discover Network Documents, DCI Network Documents, and EMV Specifications, which mainly includes verifying data format, dynamic test (key), general data of the issuing bank, special data of cardholders, compliance with specifications, and many other items.

Accreditation by Discover CPV will help commercial banks in achieving compliance with the technical requirements of Discover and Diners Club when issuing cards.
