BCTC Launches UnionPay International Transportation Terminal QR code Testing Service

Recently, National FinTech Evaluation Center (NFEC, also well-known as Bank Card Test Center or BCTC), a leading financial technology and security service provider, launched UnionPay International (UPI) transportation terminal QR code recognition capability testing service to help UPI accelerate the construction of the acceptance environment for overseas public transportation scenarios.

With the increasing popularity of QR code payment, UPI is committed to promoting contactless functions (Quick Pass) to overseas passengers. After digging into the technical characteristics and user habits of domestic and foreign public transportation scenarios, BCTC actively cooperates with UPI to carry out UPI transportation terminal QR code recognition capability testing service.

Testing services mainly include barcode recognition ability, recognition accuracy rate, movement tolerance, recognition angle, recognition depth of field, and recognition area, etc.
