BCTC obtained the American Express card product testing accreditation for the first time in February 2019, marking that BCTC has become the first American Express product testing laboratory in China. So far, BCTC has provided functional testing services for American Express terminals and card products for more than 20 products from dozens of domestic and foreign vendors.

To meet the one-stop testing requirements of many card vendors for the production qualification certification of American Express, BCTC obtained new accreditation to perform Type Approval activities for the testing of the physical characteristics of the IC card in August 2020, after passing the strict technical assessment. Within the scope of American Express certification, BCTC has been able to provide one-stop certification and testing items including personal data verification, card applications (American Express global applications and domestic applications), physical characteristics of card products (magnetic stripe cards, IC cards), etc.

Meanwhile, BCTC can also provide UnionPay card manufacturer production qualification testing and MasterCard CQM (Card Quality Management) testing for global card vendors, helping vendors to obtain the certification of the above-mentioned global card schemes.
